Contemporary Literature Press is publishing an excerpt from another volume for which the publishing house Humanitas has granted the copyright: this time it is a book by Alexandru Teodorescu, which describes Romanian communist prisons.
The author of this book lives in Germany now. He was arrrested while in highschool. He spent five years in prison, and after that he graduated from the Faculty of English top of his class, in 1970.
This book focuses on two major things in life: how to be human, and the need to know more. We recommend it to all teenagers who are looking for the essentials of life.

Contemporary Literature Press publică încă un volum realizat cu sprijinul Editurii Humanitas, care ne–a acordat dreptul de a reproduce un fragment substanțial din volumul lui Alexandru Teodorescu despre detenția în închisorile comuniste.
Alexandru Teodorescu, stabilit în prezent în Germania, a fost arestat în liceu. A fost eliberat după cinci ani, și a devenit student la Facultatea de Engleză, ale cărei cursuri le–a absolvit cu nota 10 în anul 1970.
Cartea aceasta este o pledoarie pentru două lucruri esențiale: calitatea umană și setea de învățătură. O recomandăm tuturor adolescenților care caută valori adevărate în viața lor de toate zilele.
